This comment is idiotic; I really don't know what you were watching, If anything, it's the MC who need to grow up. The whole thing was not up to him, he is the leader of a nation in a sense; he is the father of a nation and he needs to take the whole clan into consideration, go to war with an Enemy they can't beat or if they beat that enemy, the clan will be destroyed, or allow his son to stay and he is assassinated or his son is assassinated. If anything, his grandfather is very strong to make such a decision, even if it hurt him. His decision saved a lot of lives. If anything, it is his son who placed his clan in danger.

So.... your solution is to kill your own family members, your cousins, uncles, aunts cuz the MC parents did something to hurt family and they are rightfully angry about it.

Everything has a consequence. Whether you can accept it is a different story. Just cuz "love" doesn't mean you can act with no regards to the family.

Imagine you like a triad boss's daughter. If you date, you know triad boss gona come murder you/your extended family. You do it anyway cuz "love". Triad boss comes and hurts your family.
